Dalton Borders

Dalton is currently managing farm operations, labor and harvesting of over 800+ acres of watermelon for the Borders Melons Company, as well as overseeing land development with KNK.  He is a board member of the Texas Watermelon Association and a member of the National Watermelon Promotion Board.  Some of the challenges he sees facing the industry today are labor shortages and rising cost. One of his goals is to produce a better product and increase consumption.
